This privacy policy describes how gsheet2json (developed by Applied Media)
accesses, uses, stores, shares, and protects data, including Google user data.
Data We Access and Collect
- Data you explicitly provide in the product workflow (for example, content
selected for import/export operations).
- Product operational metadata needed to run features (for example, settings,
status, and activity information).
- Optional contact data you submit directly (for example, an email address in
a support or newsletter form).
How We Use Data
We use data only to provide and improve user-facing functionality, including:
- Executing the actions you request (for example, import/export, synchronization,
validation, and rendering).
- Showing product status, history, and error reporting needed for reliable operation.
- Improving product quality via minimal analytics and diagnostics.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, data brokerage, credit/lending decisions,
or generalized AI model training.
Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not share data with third parties except:
(a) when required to deliver the feature you explicitly invoke,
(b) with infrastructure providers acting on our behalf, or
(c) when required by law.
- When you direct data to another destination system, that system's terms and
privacy policy govern further handling after transfer.
Data Protection and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect
data, including encrypted transport, access controls, and least-privilege design.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data only as long as needed for the business and operational purposes
described here, unless a longer period is required by law. When retention is no
longer necessary, data is deleted or anonymized.
You may request deletion of account-linked data we control by contacting
legal@gsheet2json.com.
Third-Party Services
We may rely on third-party providers (for example, hosting and email services)
to operate the product. Data you submit directly to those providers is governed by
their terms and privacy policies.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are published on this
page with an updated "Last updated" date.
gsheet2json-Specific Data Handling
- gsheet2json accesses the active sheet/tab content you choose to export and
the JSON content you choose to import.
- When you use Google Drive actions, gsheet2json accesses selected Drive files/folders
needed to complete that action.
- gsheet2json stores minimal settings/state needed for operation (for example,
preferences, trial/license state, and activity metadata).
- gsheet2json does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data
for advertising or generalized AI model training.
